Ibrahim Haddad is a Researcher at the Ericsson Corporate Unit of Research in Montreal, Canada. He is involved with the system architecture of third generation wireless IP networks. Ibrahim represents Ericsson on the Technical Board of the Open Source Development Lab. Ibrahim has delivered several talks at universities, Open Cluster Group 2001 and 2002, Ottawa Linux Symposium 2002, ACM Sigmetrics 2002, IEEE Cluster 2001 and 2002, and ACM Multimedia 2002. He is currently scheduled as a tutorial speaker for Real World Linux 2003 and the International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Computing 2003. Ibrahim is a Contributing Editor to the Linux Journal. He received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Computer Science from the Lebanese American University, charted by the University of the State of New York. He is currently a Dr. Sc. Candidate at Concordia University in Montreal where he received both the J. W. McConnell Memorial Graduate Fellowships and the Concordia University 25th Anniversary Fellowship.
