Young Hyun obtained his B.S. in Computer Science in 1997. He
worked in the software industry for several years before joining CAIDA
in 2000. At CAIDA, he developed the Walrus visualization tool which
uses hyperbolic geometry to display very large graphs in 3D. He
is the principal maintainer of CAIDA's NetGeo geographical mapping
service.
Young is currently working on analysis of Internet topology and
BGP
routing and convergence questions in the context of CAIDA's
atomized
routing project. He is the author of four papers and several
posters and
presentations.
